Commercial Testing Company is a privately owned independent testing laboratory founded in 1974 in Dalton, Georgia. To provide unbiased test data, the stockholders, directors, officers, and employees do not own stock, nor are they in any way associated with, its clients or potential clients. The laboratory has received approval as an independent testing laboratory from the Federal Government (GSA), the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) through the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), and state, city, and local governments. The laboratory is approved by the City of New York for MEA certification. A DER is on staff to assist you in certifying products for FAA use on Part 25 aircraft.

The Company maintains its testing facility in Dalton, Georgia. It has the capability for studying a wide range of problems and their solutions. It is staffed so that a client may submit a material for testing and be assured that the latest edition of the most appropriate test method will be used. Submissions of new test ideas are welcomed so that a new test procedure, or even test equipment, may be devised.

Membership and active participation in trade associations, consensus standards organizations, seminars, and lectures provide up to date knowledge of revisions to standards, ideas, and recommended procedural changes in standards and specifications. Such organizations include ASTM International, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC).

On request, Commercial Testing Company presents custom clinics for its clients which include lectures, discussions, question and answer sessions, and witness testing. Time involved is generally determined by the client and the technical order upon which they are conducted.
